Infringing Policy
Effective September 1st, 2023 I am putting in place an infringement policy for other photographers.
I mostly shoot in open arenas for equine shows.  Over the years, I have had a few issues with photographers not following the rules of either me being the official photographer for that show or of me being a sponsor for that show, and I have just let it go.
My apologies, but I can no longer let this slide as it seems to be a "one way street" for other  photographers.   Any questions comments or concerns, please send me a message.   I take shows at their word that they will support me if I am their photographer or their sponsor.  If I cannot take someone at their word, then contracts with great detail will have to be drawn up and I really do not like doing that.
ANY photographer attending shows/events that I am either an official photographer for or sponsor, if you are selling or giving away the photos you are taking,  you will receive an invoice from me for an infringement charge and  to offset the loss of revenue from you being there.  If you remove any of my signs from venues that I am working at, you will receive an invoice for the replacement for that as well.
A quick message saying that you're coming to photograph the show just for fun goes a long way.  If you are onsite to photograph riders, you will be asked to provide a list of riders names ect.  Please be respectful and stick to the list you have given out.
If I am your photo sponsor because you are going to worlds and you use another photographers image or images for anything, I will send you an invoice to cover loss of revenue and expenses.
If for whatever reason, a show brings me on as a photographer or sponsor, and/or then cancels the agreement, they will receive an invoice to cover loss of revenue and for expenses.  Also, I will still attend the said show to finish out orders for my clients who still show at your show.   This will also apply if I am the official photographer or sponsor and a member of said "show board" invites another photographer to the show.
If for whatever reason, a show or event brings me on as a show/event sponsor and invites another photographer/photographers, that show/event will receive an invoice from me to offset the amount of sponsorship I have give to that show/event, plus you will also receive an invoice to offset the amount of revenue I lost due to you inviting another photographer to said show/event.
Invoices will be sent out at the end of the show season.
Disrespect Policy
If you feel the need to jump on to social media and be a cyber bully about my work, I will not release any images of you until a formal apology is made.  Please be an adult.  If you have an issue or issues with something I have or have not posted, send me a PM and we will chat about it.
If you are a photographer who has disrespected me at an event either verbally, on social media, private message or by standing in spots where you can clearly be scene in my photos and know you are in the way of the image I am trying to capture,  I will send you an invoice to make up for the loss of image sales.
