Official Photographer, Sponsorship & Contracts
For many equine events, there will be a formal contract in place covering sponsorship, event photography, and designation as the official photographer. These contracts are tailored specifically to each event.
Other events may also require contracts, which will be determined on a case-by-case basis. If a contract—whether written or verbal—has been agreed upon, it is expected that all terms are respected.
Breach of Agreement
If any written or verbal agreement is broken or canceled, an invoice will be issued for loss of revenue at an hourly rate based on the time scheduled for the event.
Disrespecting a signed agreement, or disregarding verbal terms, will be treated seriously and invoiced accordingly.
Expectations for Official Photographer Status
If I am the official photographer or a major sponsor of your event, I expect that role to be respected.
Inviting other photographers, paying them, or sharing their images during the event is considered highly disrespectful and a violation of agreement.
In such cases, invoices will be issued to cover the loss of revenue.
Denied Media Access
If I have been assigned to your event by a media outlet, sponsor, or participant, and you deny my access or refuse to honor my media pass, you will receive an invoice for the time scheduled, regardless of whether coverage was completed.
Final Note
I will not tolerate dishonesty from photographers, event organizers, or related parties. Mutual respect and professionalism are expected.
For more details or to discuss a potential partnership, please send me an email or use the contact form below.
Disrespect Policy
Professionalism and mutual respect are non-negotiable.
If you choose to use social media to insult, harass, or publicly criticize my work, please understand that I will withhold all images of you until a formal apology is made. This includes personal attacks, defamatory comments, or cyberbullying behavior. If you have concerns or feedback, please handle them like a professional: send me a private message and we can have a respectful discussion.
Regarding Other Photographers
If you are a photographer and have shown disrespect toward me at an event—whether: verbally, through social media or private messages, or by intentionally standing in my shooting area, knowingly obstructing the images I’m capturing, you will receive an invoice for the loss of potential image sales caused by your actions. I expect professional courtesy, just as I extend it to others.
Refund Policy
No refunds will be issued for photo sessions or events that have been booked with a deposit or paid in full without 48 hours' notice of cancellation. This applies to all bookings, including weddings.
Deposits or payments made for one event or session are non-transferable to another session or event, even in the case of a cancellation. This includes weddings.
No refunds will be provided on prints or digital images once the session or event has been completed.
Digital images will be delivered exclusively through Facebook Messenger via a live link.
Re-shoot Policy and Reprint for Sports Packages
If a re-shoot is required, a $50 fee will be charged for the session.
All images from the original order must be returned before a re-shoot is scheduled. If the original images are not returned, the full price of the original order must be paid, in addition to a $25 fee for the re-shoot.
Gift Card Policy
We offer gift cards in any amount, or you can choose from our pre-loaded gift cards in $25 and $50 denominations. Here are a few important things to note:
Usage: Gift cards can only be redeemed for full-priced sessions.
Limits: Only one gift card can be used per photo session.
Discount Exclusions: Gift cards cannot be combined with any discounts or special offers, including Fall and Christmas Mini Sessions.
Horse Show Sessions: Gift cards cannot be used during horse show mini sessions, as those are already discounted.
Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or need further clarification!
Facebook Messenger Spam
If you multi message me on Facebook, your message will go to the Spam folder. Once it goes there, it will not be opened. In some cases, the person sending the messages gets banded from my page as well. This is a Facebook setting to keep the business pages safe from scammers. This is a Facebook setting not mine. Also, if you send "??" with no text, that may get your message sent to spam and you could be banned from my page.
PLEASE send one message at a time on Facebook Messenger and wait for my reply. Also, please make sure to visit my Facebook Home page for regular updates on posting and Dropbox Links.
I have posted about this on Facebook several times, but yet, people still send 4, 5 or 6 messages before I reply. I will no longer be posting reminders on my social media about this, as it is clearly posted on my website.
Facebook Posted Images
ALL images posted on social media are low resolution images, resized for social media use only. These images are FREE for you to use on your social media pages. All I ask is that you tag Tanya Everett Photography in your post or posts.
If you would like to purchase high resolution photos, please send me a message and I will give you the details on prices and packages.
Social Media
If I run your social media pages in exchange for images of your event, and said company, said organization or team decides that I am no longer providing images or doing your social media, the pages will be deleted. These pages are linked to mine for better social media coverage.
Image Privacy Policy/Media Release
This is being updated to match today’s social media world. Stay tuned for more details.

If you are a foster parent, legal guardian, or parent with concerns about your child’s photo being posted on social media or images being purchased without your knowledge, please reach out directly—either to me or any event photographer—as early as possible.
We can provide media release forms and ensure your child is added to the appropriate photo usage list.
